Toei Animation Launches European Licensing Program For Dragon Ball Super

Brand Licensing Presentation From Toei To Also Include announcement Of Sailor Moon Crystal Season 3

PARIS (2015, October 9th) –Dragon Ball Super, the first new Dragon Ball series in 18 years, launches at Brand Licensing Europe with a comprehensive licensing program. Capturing the attention of Dragon Ball fans around the world, Dragon Ball Super currently airs in Japan and will debut in Europe in the 4th quarter of 2016.

Reuniting the franchise’s iconic characters, Dragon Ball Super will follow the aftermath of Goku’s fierce battle with Majin Buu, as he attempts to maintain earth’s fragile peace. Overseen by Dragon Ball’s original creator, Akira Toriyama and produced with Japan’s Fuji TV, Dragon Ball Super will draw on its historic past to create a bold, new universe welcoming to fans and endearing to new viewers.

Introduced as a manga in Weekly Shonen Jump (published from SHUEISHA Inc.) in 1984, Dragon Ball has evolved into a globally beloved brand. Seen in more than 70 countries, Dragon Ball remains one of the most popular anime series of all time. Bandai is already on board as Dragon Ball Super’s official toy licensee.

Alongside Dragon Ball Super, Toei will also present the brand-new third season of Sailor Moon Crystal and its library of other classic titles. Toei’s BLA presentation marks the 10th anniversary of its Europe office. The company is exhibiting at Brand Licensing Europe 2015 at booth G035.
