TOKYO (Novembre 17, 2008) – Toei Animation’s property La Grenadière has been selected to screen during the closing ceremony of this year’s Kinotayo, the 3rd Annual Contemporary Japanese Film Festival taking place in France from November 18-25, it was announced by Kanji Kazahaya, Director of the International Department of Toei Animation Co., Ltd.
La Grenadière was adapted from the novel by the renowned French writer Honoré de BALZAC.

TOKYO (November 3, 2008) – Toei Animation’s successful feature-length animated film, One Piece The Movie: The Episode of Chopper, has been nominated for competition at the 14th Cinemas et Cultures d’Asie being held in Lyon, France from November 4-9, it was announced by Kanji Kazahaya, Director of the International Department of Toei Animation Co., Ltd.
One Piece the Movie: the Episode of Chopper is scheduled to screen on November 4 at 18H40 and on November 6 at 17H15.
Toei Animation Co., Ltd. will participate in the Lucca Comics & Games festival to be held in Italy from October 30th until November 2nd. The company will re-launch their popular animation series, One Piece, it was announced by Kanji Kazahaya, Director of International Department of Toei Animation Co.,Ltd.
As the special guest from Japan, Toei Animation will invite Mr Ryuji Yoshiike, Art Director of TV series One Piece to communicate with the press as well as the fans throughout the conference, the drawing demonstration session and the autograph session.

ONE PIECE The Movie -The episode of Chopper- is the special edition based on Toei Animation’s mega hit TV animated series ONE PIECE.
Toei Animation has been releasing the long feature film of ONE PIECE every year since 2000. This is the 9th edition released in May 2008 in Japan .

PARIS (September 26th, 2008) – Toei Animation Europe S.A.S, a subsidiary of Toei Animation Co., Ltd., and Cellfish Media will launch new mobile products for their animated properties, Magical Doremi and Digimon Adventure, on September 29th in France.
The mobile contents, wallpapers and animated wallpapers, will be available throughout Cellfish Media B to C Platforms such as KKO-mobile.com. They will be promoted and distributed on TV, Internet, Wap and Press Magazines.
