RTL2 has signed the rights to the 5 original seasons of the German-dubbed version of Sailor Moon, nearly 20 years after it first aired in Germany in 1997 on RTL2, becoming an instant hit in the country. The cult series is now back since September 4 on the free IPTV channel RTL II YOU, RTL2’s online channel targeting the 15-24 demographic. The channel already offers classic Toei Animation hits such as Dragon Ball and One Piece.
