Founded in 1956 as Japan’s first full-scale animation production company, the Company has continued to produce animated works almost every year, while actively expanding its businesses in licensing, visual content, and related fields, establishing itself as a pioneer and industry leader in animation.
Not only have our works expanded globally, but the animation business pioneered by the Company has also grown significantly overseas. In recent years, animation has come to be recognized as one of Japan’s core industries, thanks in large part to the continued support of audiences around the world.
We regard our 70th anniversary as the culmination of our journey to date, and we would like to express our sincere gratitude to our fans who have loved our works over the years, as well as to all partners and stakeholders who have supported our business activities.
