Paris (March 10, 2010) – Toei Animation’s Marie & Gali has been nominated for awards at this year’s Cartoons on the Bay, which will take place in Rapallo, Italy from April 15-18. Marie & Gali has been selected in the category of “TV series for Tween”.

Paris (March 1st, 2010) – Toei Animation Europe launch the Dragon Ball Z series in SVOD with the Internet provider Free.
The Free SVOD offer called FHV DBZ will propose for the first time in France the episodes of this popular series in unlimited for 4,99 € per month.

Strong World at Berlin Festival

Paris (February 8, 2010) – "Strong World", the 10th One Piece movie directed by the original author of the manga, Eiichiro Oda, will be screened at Berlin Festival (EFM - European Film Market) organised from February 11th until February 21st.

The return of SAILORMOON!

Paris (January 25, 2010) – Toei Animation and Backstage ink a deal to re-launch the classic anime SAILORMOON on the Italian market. The Italian agency will manage the exploitation of the following rights for Italy: TV, publishing, merchandising and theatrical release.

TOEI ANIMATION inks a deal with UNIQLO

Paris (January 14, 2010) – Toei Animation inks a deal with UNIQLO, the famous Japanese casual wear designer, manufacturer and specialty store retailer, to launch a range of T-Shirts with popular Toei Animation's series. The launch is planed for Spring 2010.

Captain Harlock & Ken the Great Bear Fist launched on SFR

PARIS (December 22nd, 2009) – Toei Animation Europe launched recently the popular animated properties, Captain Harlock and Ken the Great Bear Fist in mobile VOD and VOD with SFR in France. "Mobisodes" are proposed for free to subscribers on the Vodafone Live portal.

One Piece saga movie "Strong World" opening week-end hit!

TOKYO (December 16, 2009) - The 10th One Piece animated film, One Piece Film Strong World, was launched on December 12th in Japan and bowed to a strong 1.038 billion yen (approximately US$ 11.7 million) in two-days weekend opening.
