Chitose used to be a rich girl, but when her parents die she is evicted from the high-ranking school she was attending and has to transfer to a rural public school where even pigs and chickens attend classes. There she meets Wapiko, a simple girl who can run faster than anyone. All Chitose has left now is a pink goldfish called Gyopi, a very valuable gift from her late father. Some people try to steal Gyopi from Chitose, but Wapiko is always there to save the day with her goofy appearances.
